Affiliate disclosure
Hearth & Lawn is operated by Approved Tradesmen Limited and is free to read. To pay for it, some links to retailers may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us (Approved Tradesmen Limited) a commission. You don't pay any more.
How we label adverts
Affiliate links are adverts, so we label them clearly as (Ad) next to the link, and every guide that may contain them carries a "How we make money" note at the top. We follow the UK advertising rules (the CAP Code) on making ads obviously identifiable.
Commission never decides our picks
We choose and rank products from research: specifications, UK retailer listings, independent tests and owner reviews. We include products we can't earn from when they're the right choice, and we'll say so when a cheaper option does the job.
Who we may work with
We may join affiliate programmes run directly by retailers and brands, or through networks such as Awin. We are not currently an Amazon Associate.
